For this episode of #GBINSTREAM, We have Abu Shaikh, a multidisciplinary designer with a keen eye for visuals. He is a core team member at CHLP and project lead at Sahay. Both initiatives of SOCHARA. SOCHARA is a public health resource group, they work with Civil Society organizations and governments on a variety of Community Health initiatives across India. Abu is also a mental health advocate and runs an after-school support initiative for creating the safe and stimulating learning environment and to kindle a learning attitude amongst the children marginalized settings in urban slums of Bengaluru, India.
In the podcast we go over his journey in design, his experiences and recognitions. Mostly how design helped him create an environment where he could nurture himself as a human.
